Preface

This documentation will help users get started with Oracle GraalVM, acquaint them with the available features, supply them with command line options, and describe potential usage scenarios. It also provides a rich set of developer guides, code snippets, security guidelines, and the API documentation - everything neccesary to start developing on top of Oracle GraalVM.

The documentation is chapter-based and meets the standards defined by Oracle’s Accessibility Program. For information about Oracle’s commitment to accessibility, visit the Oracle Accessibility Program website. The main sections herein are:

• Solutions, Overview, and Support - for users new to Oracle GraalVM, or solutions architects and application developers seeking to estimate its buiness value.

• Get Started with Oracle GraalVM - for users already familiar with Oracle GraalVM but have little experience using it, or any others looking to start from scratch.

• Reference Manuals - for users who have experience managing or developing applications and are looking for the in-depth documentation of Oracle GraalVM technologies.

• Security Guide - for security researchers, developers, and embedders already familiar with the Oracle GraalVM architecture, and who are searching for information on its security model.

• Oracle GraalVM SDK Javadoc - for application developers, or those who write Java compatibility tests or would like to re-implement the Oracle GraalVM platform.
