Business Parameter Description

ReratingOfTiedProducts

Controls which product-to-discount association BRM uses when rerating events for products with tied discounts.

  • disabled: BRM uses the current PIN_FLD_TIE_ID of the purchased product and the current purchased-discount information. As a result, changes to a product's tie ID or discount association after the original event can affect the rerated result. This is the default value.

  • enabled: BRM uses the purchased-product and purchased-discount audit records that are effective at the time of the original event. BRM matches tied discounts using the product's historical tie ID, so changes to the tie ID or discount association after the original event do not affect the association used for rerating.

When you enable this parameter, ensure that the required /au_purchased_product and /au_purchased_discount audit records are available.

Table 11-4 lists the new subscription business parameters.

AgreementProductPriority

  • EarliestStartDate: The agreement with the earliest start date takes precedence.

  • LatestStartDate: The agreement with the latest start date takes precedence.

  • Disabled: The agreement functionality is disabled. This is the default.

RuleManagerDiscounting

Specifies whether BRM enables rule-based discount evaluation during event rating. The default is disabled.

SkipProductBundleValidation

Specifies whether BRM skips validation of a product's effective date against its parent bundle's effective-date range. The default is disabled.
