Installing Web Services Manager

Note:

If Web Services Manager is already installed, you must uninstall its features before you reinstall them.

Install the required BRM server components before or at the same time as you install and configure Web Services Manager. The required components include the Connection Manager (CM) and Data Manager (DM). See "Installing BRM" in BRM Installation Guide for more information.

Note:

Oracle recommends that you install Web Services Manager on the same system as BRM.

To install Web Services Manager, see "Installing Individual BRM Components" in BRM Installation Guide. In the Available Product Components window, select Webservice Manager Version, where Version matches the BRM version that you are installing.

Starting and Stopping Web Services Manager

After you install Web Services Manager, you can use the provided scripts to start and stop the application.

From the BRM_home/bin directory, run the following script to start Web Services Manager: 

start_brm_wsm

When you start Web Services Manager with this script, the application uses the values in the BRM_home/apps/brm_wsm/config/Infranet.properties file.

From the BRM_home/bin directory, run the following script to stop Web Services Manager: 

stop_brm_wsm
