What's New in This Guide

This section introduces the new and updated features for release 24.1.x in Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core, Binding Support Function (BSF) User Guide.

Release 24.1.0 - F92996-01, April 2024

• Added/Updated the following sections with the details of the Support for cnDBTier functionalities in CNC Console feature:
  • Added information about cnDBTier APIs support in the Support for cnDBTier Functionalities in CNC Console section.
  • Added the Viewing cnDBTier functionalities in CNC Console section to view the status of cnDBTier clusters and georeplication status on the CNC Console.
• Added/Updated the following sections with the details of Validating Destination-Realm Received in AAR-I Message feature:
  • Added description of Validating Destination-Realm Received in AAR-I Message feature in Validating Destination-Realm Attribute-Value Pair (AVP) Received in AAR-I Message.
  • Added the following advanced settings for Diameter Gateway under Settings:

    • DIAMETER.Enable.Validate.Realm
    • DIAMETER.BSF.Enable.Validate.Binding.Realm
    • DIAMETER.BSF.Enable.Overwrite.Realm
  • Added the ocbsf_diam_realm_validation_failed_total metric in Diameter Gateway Metrics.
  • Added the following alerts to BSF Alerts:
    • DIAM_RESPONSE_REALM_VALIDATION_ERROR_CRITICAL
    • DIAM_RESPONSE_REALM_VALIDATION_ERROR_MAJOR
    • DIAM_RESPONSE_REALM_VALIDATION_ERROR_MINOR
• Added/updated the following sections to include details of Support for Automated Certificate Lifecycle Management feature:
  • Added Support for Automated Certificate Lifecycle Management to describe the Support for Automated Certificate Lifecycle Management feature.

  • Added oc_certificatemanagement_tls_certificate_info metric in Metrics for Automated Certificate Lifecycle Management:

• Removed the "SYSTEM_OPERATIONAL_STATE_NORMAL" alert.
