- Updated release number to 24.2.0 throughout the document.
- Updated details of "Update Service Operation" for NSSAI Availability Service as an enhancement in the core behavior of NSSF.
- Updated Ingress Gateway Pod Protection feature to add details of expected behavior for both the deployment modes, ASM and non-ASM.
- Updated Auto-Population of Configuration Based on NSAvailability Update feature to add details of enhancements, such as update in REST API configuration and option to enable or disable the feature.
- Perform the following updates in Overload Control based on Percentage Discards feature:
- Added a note about random function and how there can be a difference between configured percentage based discards and observed values due to this function at the Ingress Gateway.
- Added cross references to the corresponding CNC Console sections for the Common Services REST APIs.
- Corrected the metric name from "ocnssf_nsselection_success_response_tx" to "ocnssf_nsselection_success_tx_total" in Time of the Day Based Network Slice Instance Selection and Multiple PLMN Support sections.
- Added a note in Multiple PLMN Support section that when the
global.supportedPlmnList
parameter is empty, then the multiple PLMN feature is turned off, indicating that all PLMNs are permitted. - Updated Error Scenarios table in Multiple PLMN Support section to change status code from
200 OK
to403 PLMN_NOT_SUPPORTED
when AMF tries to update session data for unknown PLMNs and known PLMNs. - Updated stack information from dual stack to single stack in IPv6 Support feature.
- Updated CNC Console configuration for NSSF System Option with the option to enable or disable AutoConfiguration from Trusted AMFs.
- Added CNC Console configuration for Trusted Amf.
- Updated CNC Console configuration for SBI Error Criteria Sets for the following fields:
- Added a note that Cause field is not supported in NSSF and the user needs to remove the default configured Cause to configure SBI Error Criteria Sets in NSSF.
- Updated field description of Headers Matching Script to mention that this field is not supported in NSSF, and it can be left blank.
