Release 24.3.2- G12499-06, August 2026

• Performed the following changes in the NSSF Metrics, KPIs, and Alerts section:

  • Corrected metric names and types.
  • Updated exact case-sensitive dimension labels.
  • Added missing dimensions and removed invalid ones.
  • Corrected Service Operation values and descriptions.
  • Standardized Dimension entries as bullet lists.

• NSSF Metrics

  • Standardized metric naming by applying Prometheus suffixes such as _total, _sum, _count, and _max.
  • Updated latency metric guidance following the migration to Micronaut and deprecated unsuffixed *_latency_seconds metrics for NSSF microservices.
  • Expanded the documented metric dimensions for gateway, cache, notification, managed-object, routing, and network-address measurements.
  • Renamed selected success and error counters by appending _total.
  • Removed the generic HTTP request, response, and payload-size metrics and added gateway-specific HTTP request and response counters.
  • Removed ocnssf_configuration_database_write_error.
  • Updated metric types and dimensions for NSSelection request-duration, cgroup resource, and rejected Ingress Gateway connection metrics.
• NSSF KPIs
  • Updated the NSSelection and NSAvailability 4xx and 5xx KPI expressions to use oc_ingressgateway_http_responses_total and the Route_path dimension.
  • Corrected the NSAvailability 5xx KPI to match 5xx responses and updated the NSAvailability service-path filter.
  • Updated the NSSF Ingress Request KPI to use sum(rate(oc_ingressgateway_http_requests_total[5m])) and corrected its description to reference the NSSF Ingress Gateway.
