• Feature Updates:
  • New Features:

    • Support to Handle Partial NF Profile Update Notifications From NRF: Enhanced NSSF to support NF_PROFILE_CHANGED notifications with partial updates (profileChanges) in addition to full profiles (nfProfile). This enables faster reaction to peer NSSF state changes (for example, nfStatus) and improves handover decisions in geo-redundant deployments, while ignoring non-relevant updates and maintaining backward compatibility.

      • Added the following metrics for this feature in the NSSF Metrics section:

        • ocnssf_nrf_notification_received_rx_total
        • ocnssf_nrf_notification_response_tx_total
        • ocnssf_nrf_notification_actioned_total
        • ocnssf_nrf_notification_no_action_total

        • ocnssf_nrf_notification_status_total

      • Added the following dimensions for the above metrics in the same section:
        • profileType
        • nssf instance ID
        • event
• General Updates:
  • Updated release number to 26.1.200 throughout the document.
  • Added details for NSSF behavior when microservices are scaled down, including NRF state behavior for NsSelection, NsSubscription, NsAvailability, NsAuditor, Ingress Gateway, Egress Gateway, NRF-Client, NsConfig, and full NSSF site uninstall scenarios.
  • Added NSSF Features List with Configuration Status, showing each feature’s release, default enablement status, configuration type, and licensing SKU.
  • Added details of "NSSF behavior when microservices are scaled down" in the NSSF Supported Services chapter.
  • Added NSSF Features List with Configuration Status.
  • Added back the SubscriptionToNrfFailed alert.
  • Removed the instance of contentEncodingEnable parameter from the Support for Compression Using Accept-Encoding or Content-Encoding gzip feature as it is not supported in this release.
  • The parameter commonCfgClient.enable is now an engineering parameter with default value as true. Added a note in the Dynamic Log Level Update section that it's values should not be changed.
  • Added the SubscriptionToNrfFailed alert details.
