Install the Intelligent AI Connector

If you are using the Intelligent AI Connector (IAC), you must install either the Basic Intelligent Media Connector Domain or the Replicated Intelligent Media Connector Domain.

Download and Configure AIC

1. Extract the AIC package.

   tar -xzvf IntelligentAIConnector-8.3.0.0.0.tar.gz

2. Navigate to the config directory.

   cd IntelligentAIConnector-8.3.0.0.0-AIC/AIC_HOME/config/

3. Open the application.yaml file.
   1. Set the providers.oci.compartmentId to your OCI compartment ID
   2. Set the providers.oci.region to your OCI region.
   3. Set application.ip-address to the management IP used by the REST/HTTP worker.

      This interface must have public network access, as IAC connects to OCI STT through this IP.

   4. Set application.udp.bind-address to the private IP used for UDP media ingress.

      This address must be in the same subnet (L2 adjacency) as the RTPProxy and MFE to ensure proper audio packet delivery.

4. Modify the rest of the file as needed for your environment.
5. If you want to enable TLS, see Configure TLS for the IAC.
6. Start the AIC.

   cd IntelligentAIConnector-8.3.0.0.0-AIC/AIC_HOME/bin 
   ./startAIC.sh
