Acme Packet AP3950 Platform Support

Starting with Communications Broker 5.0.0. P3, deployment on the AP3950 platform is supported . Communications Broker runs as a bare-metal deployment on AP3950 and supports both standalone and high availability configurations.

Communications Broker on AP3950 supports the following deployment modes:

• Standalone deployment
• Active-Standby High availability (HA) deployments

  Note:

  In HA deployments, session state, configuration data, and policy contexts are synchronized between nodes to ensure seamless failover.

Feature Support and Compatibility

Communications Broker on AP3950 provides full feature parity with existing supported platforms. The following capabilities are fully supported:

• SIP signaling and routing
• Policy enforcement
• High availability
• ECB Sync
• Monitoring and management interfaces (CLI, SNMP, REST)
• All existing features operate without modification on AP3950
