Check a Source Folder

Verify that the folder configured for an FTP or SFTP source exists on the source server.

Checking a source folder validates the path entered in the source configuration. This action is separate from testing the source connection. A connection test can succeed even when the configured folder does not exist.
  • Add the source connection.

  • Ensure that the source server is available.

  • Ensure that the source connection information is current.

  • Test the source connection.

  1. Verify that the path entered in Source Folder is correct.
  2. Verify that the configured source account can access the folder.
  3. Verify that the source server remains reachable.
  4. Update the source configuration as required.
  5. Check the folder again.

After the connection test and folder check succeed, you can transfer files from the source.
