ECP Data Bridge File Transfer

ECP Data Bridge transfers files from an FTP or SFTP source to local storage on a Cloud Connector, provides access to the files through SMB, and uploads the files to OCI Object Storage.

ECP Data Bridge provides an end-to-end workflow for moving files from a configured source to local and cloud storage.

A file transfer begins in the ECP Data Bridge local UI. ECP Data Bridge connects to the configured FTP or SFTP source and downloads the selected source folder to local storage on the Cloud Connector.

Files in local storage are available through the ECP Data Bridge SMB share. Connect to the share from a supported Windows or macOS system to access the downloaded files over the local network.

After the download stage completes successfully, ECP Data Bridge automatically uploads the downloaded files to the configured OCI Object Storage bucket. Transfer job details show the progress and status of the download and upload stages.
