Replacing a Satellite Terminal

When a satellite terminal associated with a Cloud Connector no longer works, replace it with a new terminal by following the below procedure.

To replace a satellite terminal:

1. On the Edge Nodes Inventory page, click the name of the Cloud Connector associated with the satellite terminal you want to replace
   The Edge Node Details page opens.
2. On the Edge Node Details page, click the Network tab.
3. From the interface chooser, select the satellite interface associated with the terminal.
4. Click More Actions and select Replace Satellite Terminal.
   The Replace Satellite Terminal drawer opens.
5. In the Replace Satellite Terminal drawer, enter the identifier for the replacement terminal in the Terminal Serial Number/Kit Serial Number field.
6. Click Replace.

After you submit a satellite terminal replacement, review its status in the Activity Log page. See Activity Log - General View for more information. The summary row in the Activity Log page uses the following format:

Replacing Terminal <old terminal identifier> with <new terminal identifier> for <Cloud Connector name>.
