Subscriptions

The Subscriptions tab you access from the Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform (Oracle ECP) Settings page, allows administrators to view subscription plan details and SKU usage information for tenants. The page displays subscription status, billing cycle information, and SKU counts for the selected customer and billing cycle.

Administrators can use this page to review subscription allocations, monitor SKU utilization trends across billing cycles, and export subscription data.

For information on the latest subscriptions offered, see Device and Cloud Connector Subscriptions in What's New.

The following screen capture shows Subscriptions on the Settings page.

This screenshot shows an example of the Subscriptions page.

The Subscriptions page displays the following information.
Element Name Description
Subscription ID Unique identifier associated with the subscription.
Subscription type Type of subscription plan, such as Trial or Commercial.
Subscription Status Current state of the subscription, such as Active, Suspended, or Expired.
Subscription start date Date on which the subscription became active.
Subscription end date Date on which the subscription expires or expired.
Additionally, the Subscriptions page includes a Subscriptions Usage that displays all available subscription SKUs for the selected billing cycle.

Use the billing cycle drop-down to view subscription information for different billing periods. You can view usage for either the current billing cycle or a specific month, going back up to 11 months.

Optionally, users can download the subscription information currently displayed in the table by selecting the Download icon.

Column Header Description
Product ID SKU part number in the format Bxxxxxx.
Product Name Name of the subscription SKU.
Monthly Allowance Customer data allowance associated with the subscription. If the SKU does not include a data allowance, the value is displayed as --.
Total Number of activated subscriptions, of this type, currently in use.

Note:

  • Devices that have been onboarded but not activated are not included in this total, unless Cellular Connectivity was activated during onboarding. In that case, the Cellular Connectivity subscription is counted.
  • Cloud Connectors that have been onboarded but not activated may still contribute to the total:
    • Satellite Connectivity is activated by default during onboarding and is therefore counted.
    • Cellular Connectivity is counted if it was activated during onboarding.
  • When a device or Cloud Connector is activated after onboarding, a scheduled job automatically detects the activation and updates the subscription allowance totals within 24 hours.

For information on activating a device subscription, see Actions on the Device Details Page.

Note:

After a device is activated, it may take some time for the changes to appear in the Subscriptions Usage table.
