Transfer Files

Transfer a selected source folder to local storage and OCI Object Storage, and monitor the download and upload stages.

Initiate a file transfer from a configured source on the Sources page. Before starting the transfer, browse the configured source path, select a folder, and review the number of files, folders, and total amount of data included in the selection.

ECP Data Bridge first downloads the selected folder and its contents to local storage. After the download completes successfully, the files become available through the SMB share and ECP Data Bridge automatically begins uploading them to the configured OCI Object Storage bucket.

Use the Transfer Jobs page to monitor download and upload progress, review file-level status, and view failure information. You can cancel a download or upload while it is in progress. A failed or canceled upload can be retried when the complete downloaded dataset remains available in local storage.
