Supported Local Media Playback Capabilities

The Oracle® Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC) supports the following playback scenarios:
  • Playback on 183 Session Progress
  • Playback on REFER
  • Playback on header, where the header is P-Acme-Playback
The E-SBC does not support the following operations for local media playback:
  • SRTP
  • Call recording
  • SIPREC

Local media playback does not work in call flows for which media is released.

The E-SBC supports up to 100 concurrent playbacks.
