10 Uninstalling Offline Mediation Controller

This chapter describes how to uninstall Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller.

Uninstalling Offline Mediation Controller

To uninstall Offline Mediation Controller:

1. Go to the OMC_home/oui/bin directory, where OMC_home is the directory in which Offline Mediation Controller is installed.

2. Run the following command:

   ./deinstall.sh
    

   The Distribution to Uninstall screen appears.

3. Select the components you want to uninstall.

4. Click Next.

   The Welcome screen appears.

5. Click Next.

   The Uninstallation Summary screen appears.

6. Click Uninstall.

   The Uninstallation Progress screen appears.

7. Click Next.

   The Uninstallation Complete screen appears.

8. Click Finish.

When you uninstall Offline Mediation Controller, the Oracle Universal Installer does not remove all the files from the OMC_home directory, where OMC_home is the directory in which you installed Offline Mediation Controller. You must manually delete the OMC_home directory and its contents.

Uninstalling Offline Mediation Controller Using the Silent Mode

To uninstall Offline Mediation Controller using the silent mode:

1. Go to the temp_dir/ocomc/Disk1/install directory.

2. Run the following command:

   ./runInstaller -responseFile path -silent -deinstall
   

   where path is the location of the response file that you created during the GUI installation of Offline Mediation Controller.

   You receive a message indicating that Offline Mediation Controller has been uninstalled successfully.
