This appendix lists and describes silent installation install_cfg.xml parameters for Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM).

WebLogic Parameters

Table D-1 lists the WebLogic parameters for a silent installation of OSM.

Configure-BEA-WebLogic

Set to Yes to configure the WebLogic domain or No not to configure the domain.

JBoss-lib-dir

Directory in which the JBoss Java libraries are located.

BEA-WebLogic-Host

WebLogic host name or IP Address.

BEA-WebLogic-Port

WebLogic administration server port number.

WebLogic-System-User

OSM WebLogic domain administrator user name.

WebLogic-System-Password

OSM WebLogic domain administrator password.

OSM-WLS-Server-Name

In a clustered environment, the OSM WebLogic cluster name.

In a non-clustered environment, the administration server name.

OSM-WLS-Server-Port

In a clustered environment, the port number of any one managed server in the cluster. Do not use the proxy port.

In a non-clustered environment, the port number of the administration server.

Oracle-Server-Host

Host name of the database instance. Use this parameter for a non-Oracle-RAC database.

Oracle-Server-Port

Port number on which the database is listening. Use this parameter for a non-Oracle-RAC database.

Oracle-SID

Oracle SID of a non-Oracle-RAC database instance.

schema_username

OSM database schema owner name.

schema_password

OSM database schema owner password.

Connection-Pool-Initial-Capacity

Initial capacity for Connection Pool.

Connection-Pool-Maximum-Capacity

Maximum capacity for Connection Pool.

Connection-Pool-Capacity-Increment

Number of connections added when the connection pool maintained by the WebLogic server is exhausted.

OSM-Administrator-User

OSM Administrator user name.

OSM-Administrator-Password

OSM Administrator password.

Studio-Admin-User

The Oracle Communications Design Studio administrator user. Default is deployAdmin.

Studio-Admin-Password

The Design Studio administrator user password.

OSM-Internal-Password

The Core OSM user (oms-internal) password

OSM-Automation-Password

The OSM automation user (oms-automation) password

Switch-Database

Set to No to leave the existing database configuration unaltered. Set to Yes to alter the existing OSM data source configuration or to create the OSM data source configuration if none exists.

Note: In production mode you must set this parameter to No, because you cannot alter the existing OSM data source configuration. If you set to YES, installation fails. In a non-production environment, installation works with both options.

RAC-Database

Set to Yes to configure an Oracle RAC database or No not to configure an Oracle RAC database.

JMS-Store-Type

Type of JMS store to be used by the OSM server. Values are File, JDBC, or NoChange. Default is File.

BEA-WebLogic-SSL-Port

Set only if SSL is used, the WebLogic Administration Server's SSL port number.

Use-SSL-Connection

Set to Yes to use an SSL connection to the WebLogic Administration Server or No not to use an SSL connection.

SSL-Key-Store

Set only if SSL is used, location of the key store file.

Oracle-Service-Name

Name of the service used for a non-Oracle-RAC database instance.

OSM-Database-Timezone-Offset

OSM database timezone offset. (The non-Daylight-Saving-Time offset of the database timezone from GMT in seconds.)

RAC-Type

Type of Oracle RAC database configuration. Values are ActiveActive or ActivePassive (default). Applies only if RAC-Database is set to Yes.

RAC-Listener

Set only to configure an Oracle RAC database. Values are Remote or Local.

Database-Server-Host-N

Host name of an Oracle RAC database instance. Only use this parameter when configuring an Oracle RAC database, where N is the number of the Oracle RAC database instance.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Remote, the value of this parameter must be the same for all instances.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Local, the value of either this parameter or Database-Server-Port-N must be different for all instances.

Database-Server-Port-N

Port number on which the an Oracle RAC database is listening. Only use this parameter when configuring an Oracle RAC database, where N is the number of the Oracle RAC database instance.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Remote, the value of this parameter must be the same for all instances.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Local, the value of either this parameter or Database-Server-Host-N must be different for all instances.

Database-Server-SID-N

System identifier of the an Oracle RAC database instance. Only use this parameter when configuring an Oracle RAC database, where N is the number of the Oracle RAC database instance.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Remote, this parameter must be specified. The value must be unique for all instances.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Local, either this parameter or Oracle-Service-Name-N must be specified. Specify the same parameter for all instances.

Oracle-Service-Name-N

Name of the service used for an Oracle RAC database instance. Only use this parameter when configuring an Oracle RAC database, where N is the number of the Oracle RAC database instance.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Remote, this parameter must be specified. The value must be the same for all instances.

When the value of RAC-Listener is Local, either this parameter or Database-Server-SID-N must be specified. Specify the same parameter for all instances.

JTA-Timeout-Value

Number of seconds that an active transaction is allowed to be in the first phase of a two-phase commit transaction before being rolled back. Oracle recommends setting this to 600.

Start-Oms-Ear

Set to true if you want OSM to start when installation is complete. Set to false if you do not want OSM to start when installation is complete.

You can set this value to false in an upgrade when you want to ensure that you can perform WebLogic configuration before OSM begins to process any queued orders. Otherwise, you should set it to true.

Create-Coherence-Config

Set to true if you want the Installer to create a coherence cluster. Set to false if you do not want the Installer to create a coherence cluster.

Coherence-Cluster-Name

Name of the coherence cluster.

Coherence-Cluster-Unicast-Port

Unicast port number of the coherence cluster.

Number-Coherence-Well-Known-Addresses

Number of coherence cluster Well Known Address (WKA) members.

Well-Known-Address-Listen-Address-n

The WKA member's server address, where n is the ordinal of the WKA member.

Configure-Job-Orders

Determines whether the Job Orders product cartridge is deployed by the installer.

Note: This parameter is not applicable for silent installation. To manually deploy product cartridges, see OSM_home/ProductCartridges/install/ReadMe.txt for instructions about manually deploying the product cartridges after you have installed OSM.

Frontend-Host

The listen address of the HTTP proxy server for the WebLogic cluster.

Frontend-HTTP-Port

The HTTP listen port of the HTTP proxy server.

Frontend-HTTPS-Port

The HTTPS listen port of the HTTP proxy server.

OSM Parameters

Configuring the OSM parameters lets you customize web client behavior and enter specific information in the worklist rows, or the notification e-mail address or any of the nodes you see. Set these parameters depending on your preferences.

Table D-2 lists the OSM parameters for a silent installation of OSM.

Time in minutes that Order Management web client and Task web client sessions remain active.

Server-Domain-Suffix

Domain suffix for the computer(s) on which the OSM server will run.

Support-Cluster

Provides special support for WebLogic clusters when selected.

Attachment-Path

The path used to locate the WebLogic file (T3) service used for storing OSM remark attachments.

Maximum-Attachment-Size

Maximum attachment size, in MB, that can be appended to a remark.

Remark-Change-Timeout

Length of time in hours that a remark can be edited following creation.

Worklist-Rows-Retrieved

Number of rows retrieved when the worklist is refreshed.

Worklist-Rows-per-Page

Number of rows displayed on each worklist page.

Query-Rows-Retrieved

Number of rows retrieved when a query is run.

Query-Rows-per-Page

Number of rows displayed on each query results page.

Notification-Rows-Retrieved

Number of rows retrieved when the notification is refreshed.

Notification-Rows-per-Page

Number of rows displayed on each notification page.

Notification-Email-Server

DNS name or IP address of your e-mail server.

Notification-Server-Port

Port on which the e-mail server is listening.

Notification-Email-Address

OSM Administrator's e-mail address.

Read-Only-Field-Length

Maximum length of read only fields in the Order Editor.

Event-Buffer-Interval

Interval used to buffer events before sending them to the automation framework.

Landing-Page

The page that by default all Task web client users will be directed to at log in.

Display-Namespace-Version

Set to 1 to show the cartridge namespace version on the Task web client's 'Create Order' page, or set to 0 to not display the cartridge namespace version on this page.

WLS-Server-SSL-Port

SSL Port on which the OSM server is listening.

Task-Processor-Interval

Enter the number of seconds between task processor polls.

Max-Rule-Processor-Count

Enter the maximum number of rule task processors used to evaluate rules.

Max-Delay-Processor-Count

Enter the maximum number of delay task processors used to evaluate delays.

Handler-Factory

For a clustered installation, set this parameter to com.mslv.oms.handler.cluster.ClusteredHandlerFactory.

For a non-clustered installation, set this parameter to com.mslv.oms.security.HandlerFactory.

Database Parameters

The database parameters are optional except for the Database-Admin-Password.

Table D-3 describes the Database Parameters for OSM silent installation.

The tablespace in which OSM model index tables will be created.

The number of orders stored per Oracle database partition (assumes a value of Yes in the Use-Partitioning parameter).

Default-Tablespace

The tablespace in which by default all OSM tables will be installed.

Summary-Start-Datetime

Date and Time information for Summary.

Summary-PriorTo-Year

Summary Prior To year.

Order-Index-Tablespace

The tablespace in which OSM order index tables will be created.

Create-Or-Upgrade-Database-Schema

Set to Create to create a new database schema. Set to Upgrade to upgrade an existing database schema.

Order-Data-Tablespace

Tablespace in which OSM order data tables will be created.

Use-Partitioning

Set to true to use Oracle database partitioning for order data tables or false not to use partitioning.

RuleEngine-Schema-Username

Name to use for the OSM 'rule engine' Oracle database schema.

Halt-on-Warning

Set to true to stop the installation when a warning is produced or false to continue the installation even when warnings are produced.

Model-Data-Tablespace

Tablespace in which OSM model data tables will be created.

Database-Admin-Password

Database administrator password

Number-of-Subpartitions

Number of sub-partitions per partition (assumes a Use-Partitioning parameter value of Yes).

Existing-Schema-Action

Set to upgrade.

Use-Localized-Data

Set to true to use localized data or false not to use localized data. Setting this value to true requires that you also set the Localization-Jar-File parameter.

Database-Admin-Username

The Oracle database administrator user name.

Temporary-Tablespace

Temporary tablespace used for OSM-related database operations.

Halt-on-Error

Set to true (default) to stop the installation when an error occurs or false to continue the installation even when errors occur.

Warning-Property

dbm.warning.

RuleEngine-Schema-Password

Password to use for the OSM rule engine Oracle database schema.

Localization-Jar-File

Full path to the jar file containing localized OSM initial data. This parameter is mandatory when Use-Localized-Data is set to true.

Reporting-Schema-Password

Password to use for the OSM reporting interface Oracle database schema.

Reporting-Schema-Username

Name to use for the OSM reporting interface Oracle database schema.
