7 DTLS Encryption Protocol

Enable DTLS Protocol

Access the global security settings by navigating to Global, Basic Settings.

This screenshot shows the proper configuration for DTLS encryption.

CipherSuite Name

  • AES128-GCM-SHA256 (default)
  • AES128-GCM-SHA256

Enable Session Renegotiation

When Session Renegotiation is enabled, a new handshake is established over the existing SSL connection and a new set of session keys are generated. When the current session expires, session renegotiation is initiated.

DTLS Session Lifetime

Whenever a new DTLS session is created, it is assigned a maximum session lifetime. This value is used only when Session Renegotiation is enabled.
