Add the ME to the Oracle SDM Cloud

Follow this procedure to add a Mediation Engine (ME) as a device in Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud).

  1. Log in to the Oracle SDM Cloud with your credentials.
  2. Select Tools, Certificates and upload the certificate generated from the ME.

    For more information on generating a certificate, see Create a Certificate For an ME.

  3. Create a Device Group by navigating to Device Manager, Device Groups and performing the required steps. For more information, see Configure Device Groups in the User Guide.
  4. Add the ME as a device by navigating to the Device Manager, Devices and selecting the device group created in the previous step. For more information, see Configure Device Groups in the User Guide.
  5. Enter the following ME details:
    • Network function name—Enter the name of the ME.
    • Associated site—Select an existing site configured on the Oracle SDM Cloud
    • IP address—Enter the ME's IP address.
    • Authorization token—Enter the API Authorization token generated on the ME. For more information, see Generate an Authorization Token For the ME.
    • SNMP agent mode—Select v1v2.
    • SNMP port—Enter 160.
  6. Click Apply.

    Once the ME is added successfully, it appears in the Devices table.

  7. You can optionally confirm that the device was successfully added by navigating to the Devices table and verifying the ME appears in the list.
