Generate an Authorization Token For the ME

To add a Mediation Engine (ME) as a device in Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud), you must first generate an authorization token (API key) from the ME.

1. Navigate to the ME you are adding:

   https://<me-ip>/me

2. Log in using your ME credentials.

   Note:

   After multiple failed login attempts, the admin account is locked for 15 minutes.
3. In the upper-right corner, select the Admin user menu and select Settings.
4. In the Settings menu, select REST API.
5. Check Enable API Key to generate the authorization token.

   Note:

   Regenerating the key can affect all ME REST API clients. After generating a new key, update it in every application that calls the ME REST APIs.
