Canned and Custom Reports

The Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud) supports two types of reports, canned reports and custom reports.

Canned reports provide users with pre-configured, out-of-the-box reports and visualizations to analyze network trends and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). They are designed to offer a head start for users in understanding their network data without requiring custom report creation.

Each report category is available in five standardized time granularities—hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly—so users can analyze performance at varying levels of detail.
  • Hourly—Generated from raw tables, providing fine-grained visualizations for each data point within every hour.
  • Daily—Built from hourly aggregated data, showing trends across each hour of the day,
  • Weekly—Based on daily summaries, highlighting patterns by day of the week.
  • Monthly—Uses weekly aggregates to present broader trends.
  • Yearly—Derived from monthly data.

These time intervals ensure a consistent roll-up of metrics while preserving accuracy and continuity across all time levels.

Canned reports are available for the following HDR groups:

    • CPU Utilization
    • Memory Utilization

If the canned reports do not meet their needs, users can create custom reports and visualizations in the Oracle SDM Cloud Analytics environment. This flexibility empowers users to tailor their data exploration and presentation to specific requirements.

Custom reports can be created in two ways: by duplicating and modifying an existing canned report or by building a new report from scratch.

Note:

To view and interact with canned reports in Oracle SDM Cloud Analytics, users must have either the ServiceUser or ServiceViewer application role to access the Shared Folders directory.
