Viewing Bulk Update Import Data History Details
If you have the Allow Bulk Edit permission, you can view the import data history details for files that you imported.
To view the import details history details:
- Go to your project/shell tab, and switch to User mode.
- In the left Navigator, select Logs, and select the applicable BP sub-node.
- From the toolbar, select Bulk Update, and select Import Data History Details.
- Review the following information for the imported Microsoft Excel file:
- Input File: Name of the Excel file (.xlsx) used for import.
- Upload Date: Date on which the file was imported into the application.
- Start Date: Start date and time of the import process.
- Finish Date: End date and time of the import process.
- Job Status: Status of each imported file. The following values are available:
- Not Started: The import process has not started.
- Preempted: The system did not pick up the job for some reason. If you select Job Status on the Import Data History Details page, the system displays a message similar to the following:
The system will continue the import process of the row data provided in the input file '<filename.xlsx>'. Do you want to continue?Select Yes to continue. The status changes to In Progress. - In Progress: The import job is in progress.
- Completed Successfully: All records and line item data were updated successfully.
- Completed with Errors: Some records were partially updated, or at least one record failed to update. See Viewing Error Details of the Bulk Update Import Process.
- Aborted: The job could not continue because of system issues or server failures.
- Error File: Name of the file that contains the list of erroneous records. See Error File Format for the Bulk Create and Update Import Process.
- Records Processed: Total number of BP records in the Main Form worksheet and any Line Items worksheets in the Excel file.
