Importing a CSV Template Data File

When you import a CSV data file, such as column details, the column data appears according to your Preferences settings.

• You do not need to enter the currency symbol manually because the symbol is included in the header. If you enter the currency symbol manually, the system displays an error message.
• After the CSV file import completes, number formatting appears according to your Preferences.
• After the CSV file import completes, date formatting appears according to your Preferences.

  Note:

  Oracle recommends that you use custom data elements (DEs) to define queries for a data picker filter condition. You can use auto-populate to populate the shell name or other shell properties on the record for the required custom DE.
