Configuration Steps
Step 1: Add the Data Elements to the Base Commit Detail Form
- In uDesigner, open the Base Commit BP design.
- Add the applicable text DEs to the Base Commit detail form on the System tab. These are the fields whose values can later display as additional columns in the SOV.
- Complete the design and deploy it.
Only supported text DEs can display in the SOV.
Step 2: Add the Same Data Elements to the Payment Application Detail Form
- In uDesigner, open the Payment Application BP design.
- Add the same DEs to the Payment Application detail form.
- Complete the design and deploy it.
These fields provide the Payment Application data sources used by the SOV and picker log configuration.
Step 3: Add the Same Data Elements to the Change Commit Detail Form
- In uDesigner, open the Change Commit BP design.
- Add the same DEs to the Change Commit detail form.
- Complete the design and deploy it.
This enables Change Commit line items to receive values from the SOV when users select an existing SOV line in the Commit Line Item Picker. It also allows Change Commit lines that create SOV lines to populate those values into the SOV.
Note:
No additional auto-population configuration is required for values to populate from the Commit Line Item Picker into matching Change Commit fields. If the same data source exists in both the SOV Line Picker Log and the Change Commit detail form, the selected SOV line value populates into the Change Commit line item automatically. Step 4: Configure the Show in SOV option on the Base Commit
- In uDesigner, open the Base Commit BP design.
- From the toolbar, select Open, and then select General.
- Select the Options tab.
- Open the Auto-populate on Payment Application configuration.
- For each DE that should appear as an additional SOV column:
- Select the DE for Auto-populate on Payment Application.
- Select Show in SOV for that DE.
- Save the configuration.
- Complete the design and deploy it.
When Show in SOV is selected, Auto Populate is also selected. If you clear Auto Populate, Show in SOV is also cleared.
Step 5: Create the SOV Line Picker Log in the Payment Application
- In uDesigner, open the Payment Application BP design. For more information, see Designing a Business Process Log (Standard or Picker) and Additional Information About the SOV Line Picker Log.
- In the left Navigator, select Log, and then select Picker.
- From the toolbar, select New, and then select SOV Line Picker Log.
- Add the additional DEs from the Payment Application detail form that you added in the earlier steps.
You can also:
- Reorder columns.
- Set column widths.
- Modify column headings where supported.
- Complete the design and deploy it.
The SOV Line Picker Log controls the columns users see when they select an SOV line from a Change Commit using the Commit Line Item Picker. The picker log includes required system columns, including standard SOV identifying fields. You cannot remove these columns.
After you deploy the Payment Application design, the picker log is available when users select SOV lines from Change Commit records.
