Configure Primavera Unifier

Perform the following tasks in Primavera Unifier for this integration:

Create Integration Users

For each Primavera Unifier connection in this accelerator, you will need to create a dedicated integration user in Primavera Unifier.

For details, see Creating Integration Users.

Note:

Not using dedicated integration users can cause 401 authorization errors when trying to connect to Primavera Unifier. To avoid these errors and ensure successful connections, make sure that each integration user is truly a dedicated integration user, and is not used by any other connection in this accelerator or in any other integration. Also, the integration user should not be used by other clients, such as Postman.

Create or Use an Existing Shell (Project)

A shell organizes all project/facility information and processes in one place.

You can either create a new shell or select an existing shell to receive Primavera P6 EPPM WBS, activities, assignments, roles, and resources.

For details, see Creating a Shell.

Link the Primavera P6 EPPM Project in Primavera Unifier

In the Primavera Unifier project (shell) Details, open the Gateway Integration tab and provide the Project ID of the Primavera P6 EPPM source project.

This establishes the system-to-system link used by the accelerator.

Align Calendars and Working Hours

Ensure Primavera P6 EPPM and Primavera Unifier calendars (working days/hours, holidays) are aligned.

If calendars are misaligned, Primavera Unifier may reject date updates or show shifted dates.

If needed, create custom calendars to be used by the Schedule Manager. For details, see Creating Schedule Manager Custom Calendars.
