Get started
Your organization’s deployment and account determine which GovOS functions you can use. Obtain the approved application addresses and sign-in instructions from your administrator. Confirm whether Journey Builder, Journey Events, and Government Leadership Dashboard are enabled for your role and environment.
Open journey administration
- Open the administration application address provided by your organization.
- Complete your organization’s sign-in process if prompted.
- Use the journey navigation to select Journey Builder or Journey Events, if shown.
Journey Builder is the authoring area, where enabled. It shows Available journeys and a Journey draft editor. Journey Events is the operational dashboard. A deployment with reporting but no Builder access may open directly to Journey Events. A missing link is not a way to grant yourself access; confirm the deployment configuration and permissions with your administrator.
Open the leadership view
- Open the staff application address and sign in.
- Select Government Leadership Dashboard from the navigation bar, if available.
The Government Leadership Dashboard requires the GOVERNMENT_ADMIN role. An ordinary caseworker account does not receive access merely by knowing the address. See Using dashboards for the controls and reporting periods.
Prepare to work
For journey authoring, retain the source YAML outside the browser and confirm the intended journey key and deployment. Publishing changes the journey available in that environment. Arrange the review and authorization required by your organization before publishing.
For reporting, decide which journey or operational question you need to answer and note the selected UTC range. Starts, an operational snapshot, a start cohort, GenAI attempts, and quality assessments are different populations, so their counts need not reconcile.
If a function or page is unavailable, verify the address and access rather than repeating a publication or interpreting an unavailable report as zero activity.
