Storm Model Details

Click any storm model name from the dashboard to open its details. The following information displays:

  • A summary of the storm model, including its name, state (Draft, Approved, Archived, Historic, or Cancelled), storm start and exit date, season, and customers. Most of this information is defined when you create a new storm model.

  • Buttons that let you add an Estimated Restoration Timeline (ERT) to the model or approve the storm ERT model.

  • A chart showing different ERTs (if any have been created) and actual restoration timeline data displayed as a burnup or burndown curve. The actual restoration data is based on data from an outage management system that records when an outage was restored.

    • Burnup Curve: In this view, a line trends upwards to represent how many outages have been restored over time.

      • Customers Restored (Y-Axis): The number of customers who were restored after losing power during a storm.

      • Hours / Days (X-Axis): The hours or days it took to restore power.

    • Burndown Curve: In this view, a line trends downwards to represent how many customers who are off supply are being restored. A bell curve appears to show how the initial number goes up and then back down due to restoration activities.

      • Customers Off Supply (Y-Axis): The number of customers who were off supply due to an outage.
      • Hours / Days (X-Axis): The hours or days it took to restore customers back to supply.

  • A View tab that lets you display different layers of information in the chart.

  • An Activity tab showing a history of changes to the storm model made by you or your team members.

  • A Comments tab showing comments about the storm model made by you or your team members.
