Defining Calculation Rules

Use this procedure to define calculation rules.

  • Select Menu > Rates > Calculation Rule > Add.
  • Select the Calculation Group to which the rule will belong.
  • Select the Calculation Rule BO for the calculation rule.

    Refer to Base Package Calculation Rule Descriptions for detailed descriptions of the available calculation rules and their associated business objects.

  • Enter name for the Calculation Rule.
  • Enter the Sequence for the rule. This designates the order in which the rule will be executed within its parent calculation group.
  • Enter a short Description and Detailed Description for the rule.
  • Enter or select other parameters for the rule as appropriate.

    Refer to Base Package Calculation Rule Descriptions for detailed descriptions of the available calculation rules and the parameters used by each.

  • Click Save.
