Viewing the Results of a Rate Check

The outcome of the rate check process is displayed on the Results tab. This tab contains the following zones:

  • Main: Displays results of the rate check, including:
    • Rate Schedule: The rate schedule used in the rate check
    • Revenue Class: The revenue class used for the rate check.
    • Bill Period: The start and end dates for the bill period used by the rate check.
    • Consumption Period: The start and dates for the consumption period used by the rate check.
    • Accounting Date: The Accounting Date used by the rate check.
    • Calculated Amount: The calculated total for the rate check
  • Calculation Lines: Displays the bill calculation headers and lines for the rate schedule.
  • Read Details: Displays meter read details for the consumption used in the rate calculation.
  • SQ Details: Displays a list of service quantities used in the rate calculation.
  • Characteristics: Displays characteristics referenced by the rate calculation (if applicable).
  • Trace Log: Displays logs that outline the calculation groups and rules used by the rate schedule. This zone is populated only if using a calculation rule-based rate schedule, and if the Should Trace dropdown list is set to "No".
