Lookup Value Mapping

Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter service points and other records reference field and lookup values from Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing, Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management, and Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management. This section describes how field and lookup values used by Customer Care and Billing are mapped to similar field and lookup values used by Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management, and how field and lookup values used by Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management are mapped to similar field and lookup values used by Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management

Customer Care and Billing / Meter Data Management Mapping

Mapping of field and lookup values between Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing and Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management is supported through the use of two extendable lookups:

  • C2M Mapping Field List (X1-CCBMDM-MDMCCB-MappingField): used to capture the fields that require translation mapping between Customer Care and Billing and Meter Data Maintenance maintenance objects in Customer to Meter. Values in this extendable lookup are identified by a field or lookup used by Customer Care and Billing, such as Disconnect Location (DISCON_​LOC_​CD) or Life Support / Sensitive Load (LS_​SL_​FLG).

  • C2M Mapping Field Values (X1–CCBMDM-MDMCCB-Lookup): used to capture the mapping values for the fields and lookups defined in the C2M Mapping Field List extendable lookup. Values in this extendable lookup are identified by a Customer Care and Billing field or lookup defined in the C2M Mapping Field List extendable lookup. Each value also defines the specific value mappings for the field or lookup.

Operational Device Management / Meter Data Management Mapping

Mapping of field and lookup values between Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management and Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management is supported through the use of two extendable lookups:

  • ODM—MDM Mapping Field List (X1-ODMMDM-MDMODM-MappingField): used to capture the fields that require translation mapping between Operational Device Management and Meter Data Management maintenance objects in Customer to Meter. Values in this extendable lookup are identified by a field or lookup used by Meter Data Management, such as the Life Support / Sensitive Load (LIFE_​SUPPORT_​SENS_​LOAD_​FLG) or Ok to Enter (OK_​TO_​ENTER_​FLG).

  • ODM—MDM Mapping Field Values (X1–ODMMDM-MDMODM-Lookup): used to capture the mapping values for the fields and lookups defined in the C2M Mapping Field List extendable lookup. Values in this extendable lookup are identified by a Operational Device Management field or lookup defined in the ODM—MDM Mapping Field List extendable lookup. Each value also defines the specific value mappings for the field or lookup.
