Creating Cases
To create a case, open the case management page in add mode, select the appropriate case type, fill in the other necessary fields, and click save. Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing also includes scripts that can help create cases. Refer to Scripts and Cases for more information.
You can also develop plug-ins and user exits to so that the system will create cases when specific events take place. For example, you could set the system to create a case when an umbrella agreement is ready for renewal or when a quote is created.
