The following integration processes included in the release use the new HCM ATOM feed connector, replacing an outdated version. Previously, the HCM ATOM feed was using the EMPS entity to get the Employee information. This resource is now under the CA program Controlled Availability of Oracle HCM Cloud Emps REST API/Employee ATOM feeds (Doc ID 2060899.1) on My Oracle Support.

The Employee Newhire Incremental Sync process now uses key fields from the new HCM ATOM feed connector to make an additional call to the HCM Workers REST API to gather the employee data. The following rules were added:

The Employee Update Incremental Sync process uses key fields from the new HCM ATOM feed connector to make an additional call to the HCM Workers REST API to gather the employee data. Additionally, if the employee is active, another call is made to the HCM PublicWorkers REST API to get the Worker Address information. The following rules were added:

Previously, only the “Work Phone” and “Mobile Work Phone” were sent to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service. Now, all phones marked as primary and are valid will be forwarded to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service.

The integration will send Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service the employee's first valid telephone number if the Primary Phone Number expires.

Previously, only the “Work email” was sent to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service. Now, all email types with the primary mark will be forwarded to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service.

The integration will send Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service the employee's first valid email if the primary email expires.

The Employee Assignment Incremental Sync process has been rewired to use the new HCM Atom feed without changing the existing behavior.

The Employee Termination Incremental Sync process has been rewired to use the new HCM Atom feed. The following rule was updated:

A technical update is provided to work with OpenAPI 3.0 and to prevent possible issues with the Oracle Utilities REST WACS for HCM-WACS Connection when it is edited, endpoints are regenerated, or metadata is refreshed. The update is applicable for Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service 22A and higher on the following integrations:

The HCM_EMP_WACS.xml Data Extract definition file used within the Employee Extract/Initial sync process, has been updated to work with Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud 22B and higher.
