Upgrade Process Overview

The integration upgrade mainly consists of the following steps:

1. Take a backup of the integration, including Oracle Field Service custom plugins. For more details, refer to the Creating a Backup section.

2. Remove all references to the previous version available for lookups and libraries. Refer to the Removing Old References section for more details.

3. After the integration package import is completed, validate the components for successful upgrade. Refer to Chapter 3: Validations for more details.

4. Merge all the customizations for which a backup was created. Refer to Chapter 4: Merging the Customizations for more information.
