The following figure shows the events in Oracle Utilities Network Management System dashboard.

Activities

Oracle Utilities Network Management System events can generate one or more activities in Oracle Field Service. All activities share the same event details and will be assigned to the appropriate crew. The assignment can be made either in Oracle Utilities Network Management System or Oracle Field Service respectively.

Example: An event needs a particular crew to fix the issue. So, that activity is assigned to a crew in Oracle Field Service.

Oracle Utilities Network Management System activities are identified in Oracle Field Service by appointment numbers or apptNumber. In Oracle Field Service activities are defined by their activityId and this field is not displayed on any Oracle Utilities Network Management System UI screens.
