The following new features were included in this integration:

Oracle Utilities Grid Edge Distributed Energy Resources Management System allows sending the program enrollment requests for customer-owned controllable devices to Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service.

As part of this release, a new attribute to capture the enrollment source has been introduced in the Enrollment Request message to allow utilities to record the source and use it for reporting purposes. The value is defaulted to ‘Bring Your Own’ implying the enrollment was initiated by an external entity. The other allowable values are ‘Contact Center’ and ‘Self Service’.

The enrollment orchestration within Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service sets up the relationship between customer, their controllable device, and the associated program via program subscription. Once a customer and their controllable device is successfully enrolled in Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service, it triggers a message to synchronize the data with Oracle Utilities Grid Edge Distributed Energy Resources Management System and Oracle Utilities Analytics Insights. For each enrollment synchronization message, Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service expects an acknowledgement message back.
