New Features Summary
For a list of existing features, refer to the
ESRI ArcGIS Integration to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Services documentation on
Oracle Utilities Integrations page on
Oracle Help Center.
This integration includes the following new features:
Outbound Asset Attribute Sync from WACS to ESRI ArcGIS
The outbound asset attributes synchronization ensures all attribute changes to existing assets in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service are sent to ESRI ArcGIS where the appropriate GIS features will be updated.
Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service aggregates changes made to asset attributes and generates files through a batch process. The files will be routed to either FTP or Object Storage, respectively, and then intercepted by the dedicated integration process in Oracle Integration Cloud. This process collects the records from the batch file and applies the edits in the ESRI ArcGIS Feature Layer.
OUAF-compliant File Naming
Beginning with version 25.10, Oracle Utilities Application Framework includes new security enhancements that restrict the use of invalid/special characters in filenames. To align with these standards and promote secure file handling, files generated during both initial and incremental synchronizations (whether sent to Object Storage or FTP) will now follow an Oracle Utilities Application Framework-compliant naming format.

Oracle Utilities Integrations page on
Oracle Help Center.Conditional Retry Logic
The integration now includes automatic retry capabilities for specific/configurable error events, resulting in improved overall system resilience. When short-lived issues occur (such as brief load spikes), the system can automatically try the request again without the need for manual intervention. Administrators can choose which types of errors should trigger these retries.
