New Features Summary
For a list of existing features, refer to the ESRI ArcGIS Integration to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Services documentation on Oracle Utilities Integrations page on on Oracle Help Center.
This integration includes the following new features:
Initial Asset Sync from ESRI ArcGIS to WACS
The initial synchronization of asset and location (feature data) from ESRI ArcGIS to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service is processed through Oracle Integration Cloud, where ESRI ArcGIS data is extracted and transformed into a standardized JSON format, and then consumed by Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service to create asset and location records. This initial load is designed for one-time bulk upload during implementation/migration, to create an accurate baseline of ESRI ArcGIS data within Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service.
Incremental Asset Sync from ESRI ArcGIS to WACS
This feature supports ongoing, incremental synchronization of asset and location updates from ESRI ArcGIS to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service. Using the same integration framework as the initial synchronization, changes in ESRI ArcGIS features (adds, updates, and deletes) are captured and transmitted to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service. The system identifies and processes only the delta records, ensuring that Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service has the latest GIS-sourced information for attributes managed by ESRI ArcGIS.
Multiple ESRI Enterprise Server Support
The productized integration includes support for multiple ESRI ArcGIS services to be specified in the synchronization process. This enables Utilities to consolidate data from various geographic regions or departments, ensures compatibility across Enterprise environments, and supports scalability-allowing a single integration to serve multiple operational needs efficiently.
Admin Sync
The Admin Sync is used to replicate extendable lookups from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service to Oracle Integration Cloud for streamlined access to asset-feature mapping. It includes information on the data filters and properties/fields to be included in the synchronization process.
