Setting Up Service Eligibility Criteria

A customer service request type can define one or more service eligibility crtieria to apply, using the responses to questions and/or information that is already stored in the system (e.g. person / account / premise attributes and characteristics).

Service eligiblity criteria processing can determine one or more of the following:
  • Applicable start option(s) for SP-based service agreements that are are selected for starting service.
  • Additional service agreements that are eligible to start. For example, non-SP-based service agreements, such as charitable contributions, equipment rentals, loans, etc.
  • A change in whether or not a selected SP-based service agreement can be started/stopped.

To configure service eligibility criteria, open Admin > Customer > Customer Service Request Type and navigate to the Service Eligibility tab page.

The Service Eligibility Criteria List zone displays all service eligibility criteria that are configured for the customer service request type. Search filters are provided, to allow specific search using any of the following criteria: Sort Sequence range, Question text and Status.

The Service Eligibility Criteria zone displays when a record is broadcast from the Service Eligibility Criteria List. Refer to the zone's embedded help for more details.
