The GL Interface

The following diagram illustrates the GL Interface.

The GL Interface uses the GLASSIGN, GLS, and GLDL processes. The GLASSIGN process assigns general ledger account numbers to the general ledger details associated with financial transactions. The GLS process creates financial transaction download staging records for all financial transactions that are ready to be posted to the general ledger. The GLDL process creates the flat file that contains the consolidated journal entry that is interfaced to the general ledger.
