Process X - Populate Interval Data

Process X refers to the mechanism used by your organization to populate the Interval Value tables. Process X will have the following responsibilities:

• It determines the appropriate Bill Factor and Characteristic to which this data belongs. Recall that the bill factor / characteristic may reference an external ID.
• It creates a new Interval Value Set for this bill factor characteristic with the current date and time
• If the interval data is from a different time zone, or is not in standard time for the base time zone, the time of each interval must be converted to the base time. Refer to Time Zone and Time Changes for more information.
• All prices being uploaded for the same bill factor and characteristic should be inserted into the Interval Value table and should reference the same Interval Value Set
• Inserts a record in the interval value set key table.
