Rate Schedule - Meter Configuration Type
The Rate Schedule Merge page enables you to build the meter configurations collection for your rate schedule by copying collections from existing rate schedules.
Select and navigate to the Meter Configuration Type page to define the types of meters that may be linked to service agreements that use this rate.
Description of Page
Use the Meter Configuration Type collection to define the recommended meter configuration types for meters linked to service agreements (by way of their service points) for a given rate schedule.
Meter Configuration Types are not allowed on subsidiary rate schedules.
Where Used
This information is used by the system to verify that meter configuration types for any meters linked to the SA's service points are valid for the SA's rate. This check exists when you change the rate for a service agreement or when you change the meter configuration type of a meter configuration that is currently linked to an active SA (via the meter and the SP). Note that if a meter configuration for the SA's service point's meter does not match one of the types in the list, a warning is issued, not an error.
