Devices and Measurements

Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service and Digital Asset Management can store customer measurement data which can be used to calculate a customer's baseline usage used when calculating reductions in customer usage related to demand response programs. Refer to Baseline Calculations for more details about calculating a customer's baseline usage from measurement data.

Storing measurement data also involves maintaining records about customer meters and meter installation. including the following specific types of data:

  • Devices
  • Device Configurations
  • Measuring Components
  • Install Events

Metered-related records are created via a data synchronization process between Digital Asset Cloud Service and a customer information system such as Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service or Customer to Meter.

Measurement data is imported into Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service and Digital Asset Management from a customer information system such as Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service or Customer to Meter using a process called Direct Measurement Processing.
