Understanding Postal Code Defaults
Postal Code Defaults are used to define ranges of postal codes associated with a weather station. These are used when mapping service points (including metered service points) to weather stations when the longitude and latitude of the service point is not available.
Postal code defaults are defined by the following:
- Postal Code From: The starting point of the range of postal codes for the postal code default.
- Postal Code To: The ending point of the range of postal codes for the postal code default.
- Country: The country in which the postal code default resides.
- City: The city in which the postal code default resides.
- County: The county in which the postal code default resides.
- State: The state in which the postal code default resides.
- Version: The version of the postal code default.
- Time Zone: The time zone in which the postal code default resides.
- Weather Station: The weather station associated with the postal code default.
