Working with AMI Requests
Displaying the AMI Requests List
To display the AMI Requests list, select AMI Requests option from the Tool Selector menu.
Note: The AMI Requests list only displays manually generated AMI requests.

Creating AMI Requests
Creating AMI Requests for Existing Outage
To create an AMI request for an existing outage, follow these steps:
1. Select an existing outage in Work Agenda.
2. Select Confirm/Restore Outage|AMI Confirm from the Work Agenda Actions menu.
3. If the outage has fewer affected customers than configured limit then new AMI request is created for the meter affected by the selected event; otherwise, a message is displayed stating that the selected event has too many affected meters for a single AMI Request. AMI Customers table of the Event Details tool is opened allowing user to selected specific meters to include into request. In this case the request is created by selected AMI Confirm from Event Details Actions menu.
Note: If you attempt to create an AMI request for a customer that is part of an active AMI request, the AMI Rejected Meters dialog box is displayed. This dialog box lists the customer information associated with the meter that was rejected. Click OK to continue.
Creating AMI Requests for Specific Customers
To create an AMI request for an specific customers affected by an existing outage, follow these steps:
1. Select an existing outage in Work Agenda.
2. Open Event Details tool for the selected event either by double-clicking on the row or by selecting Event Details... from the Work Agenda Actions menu.
3. Once Event Details tool is opened for the selected event navigate to the AMI Customers tab.
4. In the AMI Customers table selected the customers that should be included in the AMI request.
5. Select AMI Confirm, AMI Voltage, or AMI Load Side from the Event Details Actions menu depending on the desired AMI request type.
