Menu Option	Description
Assign Color...	Opens a dialog box that allows you to select a feeder color.
PF Mode	Allows you to set the PF Mode for the selected feeder: • kVA • Power Flow • Disabled
PF History	Allows you to maintain the power flow results history in the database for the selected feeder: • Enable • Disable
FLM Status	Allows you to set the FLM mode for the selected feeder: • Forecasting • Custom Forecasting • Real-Time • Disable
FLISR Status	Allows you to set the FLISR mode for the selected feeder: • Automatic • Manual • Disable • Restore Only
FLA Status	Allows you to set the FLA mode for the selected feeder: • Disable • Sustained • Momentary and Sustained Note: See Global FLA Versus Individual Feeder FLA Configuration on page 19-10 for more information on FLA status.
Optimization Status	Allows you to set the Optimization mode for the selected feeder: • Automatic (Slow Cycle) • Automatic (Fast Cycle) • Manual (Slow Cycle) • Manual (Fast Cycle) • Disable • Note: When a feeder is set for Disable mode, the tool will restore the feeder's regulation devices to nominal during the next Optimization cycle. During this scenario, the plan may consist of a blend of optimization steps and return to nominal steps. For example, if a feeder on a bus that contains five feeders was set to Disable, the steps would consist of return to nominal for that feeder and optimization for the remaining four that are enabled.
Optimization Objective	Allows you to select the Optimization Objective for the feeder. • Conservation Voltage Reduction • Loss Minimization • Power Factor Correction • Relieve Violations • None
Protection Schemes	Allows you to select the Protection Scheme setting for the feeder. • Disable • Manual • Automatic
Protection Schemes Mode	Allows you to select the Protection Scheme Mode setting for the feeder. • Before • After
NCA Objective	Allows you to set the NCA objective for the selected feeder: • Ignore Pre-Existing Conditions • Consider Pre-Existing Conditions • Disable
Feeder Type	Allows you to select the Feeder Type. • Sub Transmission Transformer • Sub Transmission • Primary Transformer • Primary • Secondary Transformer • Secondary • None Note: The selections are based on the feeder types available in your model.

NMS Feeder Management Table

The NMS Feeder Management table has the following columns:

• The Substation column displays the substation name.

• The Feeder column displays the feeder name.

• Source Color: the name of the currently assigned feeder color.

• The FLISR column displays the FLISR mode of the associated feeder. A feeder can be in Automatic, Manual, or Disabled FLISR mode.

• The FLM column displays the FLM mode of the associated feeder. A feeder can be in Forecasting, Custom Forecasting, Real-time, or Disabled FLM mode.

• The Optimization column displays the Optimization mode of the associated feeder.

• The FLA column displays the FLA mode of the associated feeder.

• The PF Mode column displays the PF mode of the associated feeder.

• The Optimization Objective column displays the feeder's Optimization objective.

• The Protection Schemes column displays whether dynamic protection schemes are disabled or in manual or automatic mode.

• The Protection Schemes Mode column displays whether the protection scheme steps appear before or after the restoration switch step in Suggested Switching and FLISR switching plans.

• The Feeder Type column displays the feeder type.

• The PF History column displays the PF History mode of the selected feeder.

• The NCA Objective column displays the objective that is currently setup for the network capacity allocation analysis.
