Using the Mobile User Administration Tab
The Mobile User Administration tab allows you to configure users and permissions for the Oracle Utilities Operations Mobile Application.
Understanding the Mobile Users Pane
The Mobile Users pane contains a table listing the current user accounts and allows you to add, edit, or remove users.
The table columns are:
Username: The user's username, which is used to log into the application.
First Name: The user's first name.
Last Name: The user's last name.
Creation Key: The key that was used to create the user when they logged in for the first time (as a new user).
Company: The user's associated company.
Permission Set: The permission sets of the user.
Crew: The current crew of the user.
Password: The password of the user.
Last Contact: The date and time the mobile user last contacted NMS. The column is empty if the mobile user has logged out of OMA.
The Add, Remove, Edit, Refresh, and Export Configuration... buttons operate the same way as in the User Administration tab; see Using the User Administration Tab for details. The Login History... button displays the Login History dialog box for the selected mobile user.
Mobile User Type Memberships
The Mobile User Type Memberships pane lists the user types and allows you to assign a user selected in the Mobile Users table to them.
Remaining Mobile User Types: Lists the user types available for the selected mobile user.
Current Mobile User Types: Lists the user types that have been associated with the selected mobile user.
Current Keys
Key: The key that can be given to a crew to create a user account. The key should be sufficiently complex so that it could not be guessed.
Crew Prefix: A required user name prefix for user names created using this key. For example, "OMA_" would require any user name creation request to have this prefix.
Permission Set: The permission set that the created user will be a member of.
Default User Types: A list of user types that will be associated with a user created with this key.
Crew Type: If a crew type is listed, then a crew of that type will be created automatically when this key is used to create a user. If it is left blank, then the user will choose an existing crew from a list when the user logs on.
Available: The number of user accounts that can be created using the key. It is decremented each time it is used.
Permission Sets
This contains the list of permission sets, which is a group of permissions that can be used to define what access a user has to the system.
