Define Premise Hierarchy

Premise management allows you to define premise hierarchy. For example, you could also have the notion of

  • A building
  • Multiple floors
  • Multiple apartments per floor

To define this hierarchy you must create a premise for each level in the hierarchy and for each "child" premise, indicate its appropriate parent premise. Once you have set up your premise hierarchies, you may view the hierarchies on trees on the premise page and on the control central premise tree.

In addition, the system provides the following alerts:

  • When viewing a parent premise, an alert indicates how many child premises exist
  • When viewing a child premise, an alert indicates that it is linked to a parent premise.
