Billing Data Extracts: Batch Controls

The billing data extraction process uses a set of batch processes to create data synchronization requests and extract files.

Creating Initial Synchronization Requests

The following batch processes are used to create initial synchronization requests for bills:
  • Current DataConnect

    • Bill Data Initial Load for DataConnect (C1-BLDIL)
    • Bill Segment Data Initial Load for DataConnect (C1-BSDIL)
  • Legacy DataConnect

    • Billing Data Initial Load for Legacy DataConnect (C1-BLEIL)

These batch processes should be run to create initial load data synchronization requests based on the sync business objects described above.

Creating Extract Files

The following batch process is used to create extract files from synchronization requests for billing related information.
  • Current DataConnect

    • Bill Data Extract for DataConnect (C1-BLDTX)
    • Bill Segment Data Extract for DataConnect (C1-BSDTX)
  • Legacy DataConnect

    • Billing Data Extract for Legacy DataConnect (C1-BSYEX)

These batch controls are defined as values for the Batch Control for Extract algorithm parameters on the Pre-Processing algorithms on the sync business objects described above.

The following batch controls are used to extract bill segment lines and service quantities:
  • Bill Seg Lines Extract - DataConnect (C1-BSLDX)
  • Bill Segment SQ Extract - DataConnect (C1-BSSQX)
These should be run after bill segment extract has been run.

Use the Batch Control portal for more information about these batch controls. The extract batch controls contain parameters that can be used to specify details (including path and file name for this file) for a delimited flat file containing extracted data.
