Manual Trigger Of Customer Erasure

A customer may call in to request an agent to erase them from the system.

The base product provides a Trigger Customer Erasure (C1-TrgCustEr) BPA script that users can configure as a favorite script in their User Preferences.

This script assumes that the user retrieves the Person before running the script – meaning, the Person is already in the current context. The script pulls in the Person ID and renders the information on the map, which also captures Erasure Date, Erasure Reason and Comments as additional inputs.

A Confirm action will invoke the same Manage Erasure Schedule processing that is executed in automatically triggered person erasures. If the customer is eligible for erasure, the Person and its associated Account(s) and Service Agreement(s) will be scheduled for erasure on the designated Erasure Date. Otherwise, an error will be displayed, indicating ineligibility for erasure.
