Maintaining Vendor Locations

The Vendor Location portal is used to display and maintain a vendor location record.

Refer to About Purchasing for more information.

You can access the portal from Menu, select Purchasing, then select Vendor. You are brought to a query portal with options for searching for a specific vendor. Once on the Vendor portal, scroll to the Vendor Locations zone and select the appropriate vendor location hyperlink where you are brought to the maintenance portal to view and maintain the selected record.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Main tab page:

  • Vendor Location: This zone displays general vendor location information as well as location, purchasing, payment, and pay to vendor details.
  • Notes: This zone displays any notes associated with the vendor location record.
  • Attachments: This zone enables users to manage all types of attachments for the vendor location record.
  • Related Vendor Location: This zone displays all vendor locations associated with the current vendor location record.
  • Contractor Bids: This zone lists contractor bids associated with the vendor location record.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Blanket Contracts tab page:

  • Vendor Active Blanket Contracts: This zone lists the active blanket contracts associated with the current vendor location record.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Open Purchase Requisitions tab page:

  • Vendor Open Purchase Requisition: This zone displays the open purchase requisitions associated with this vendor location record.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Purchase History tab page:

  • Vendor Purchase Order History Summary: This zone displays a summary of purchase orders associated with this vendor location record.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Shipping Deficiencies tab page:

  • Shipment Deficiencies: This zone lists the shipment deficiencies associated with this vendor location record.

The following zones may appear as part of the portal's Commodities tab page:

  • Vendor Location Commodities: This zone lists the commodities associated with the current vendor location record.
